Some restaurant owners want to retire, while others get tired of all of the work and responsibilities that come with running their own business. On the other hand, the current owners not making enough to cover their operating costs or wanting to get rid of the place before losing their investment should be seen as red flags and buying a restaurant like this is almost certainly an idiotic investment decision.
